The Sunday Post #95

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

This post is an opportunity to recap the past week on my blog and in my personal life. It’s also a chance to set up some goals for the upcoming week and talk about anything else that I want to talk about.

See the rules here.

I didn’t do much this week. I worked on my chapter in a cute coffee shop near my university and tried their espresso. I have strong opinions about espresso and I always compare the ones I drink in England to the coffees I had in Italy. This one came very close to being as good as the espressos I had in Italy but it cost me £2.50 and that made me want to cry.

I also saw Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again and it was so much fun! I loved it and it was the perfect way to break the monotony of working on my thesis.

This week on the blog:

Read this week:

  • The Murder on the Links by Agatha Christie

Currently Reading:

  • Howards End by E. M. Forster

Last week’s to-do list:

  • Read a book
  • Post a book review

Next week’s to-do list:

  • Read a book
  • Post a book review
  • Post on IG every day

I hope everyone had a great week!

    1. It’s such a nice experience to drink coffee in Italy! Mamma Mia is such a feel good film so I’ll definitely be getting it on DVD too 😊

  1. Good luck with your thesis! I know how hard and tiring they can be. So much work. I start back for my BSN next week and oh the fun that is. Have a wonderful week and I am not sure of the conversion of 2.50 by you and 2.50 by me. Glad the expresso was good tho.

    Mary my Sunday Roundup 33!

    1. Oh! Good luck with your next year of your BSN. You’ll do great.

£2.50 is about $3.20 (US dollar), €2.75, or $4.20 (Canadian). I don’t know if that helps at all but an espresso in Italy cost me only €1 so £2.50 is a lot 😂

    1. You definitely haven’t had a proper espresso until you’ve had one in Italy. It’s a great excuse to visit (along with everything else about Italy because it’s amazing)!
