The Sunday Post #111

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

This post is an opportunity to recap the past week on my blog and in my personal life. It’s also a chance to set up some goals for the upcoming week and talk about anything else that I want to talk about.

See the rules here.

I travelled to London for a long weekend and to see Doctor Faustus, one of my favourite Renaissance plays, at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. I did so much while I was in London but I think my favourite experiences were:

  • Visiting the British Museum and seeing Viking artefacts found in my home county
  • Visiting the free exhibitions at the British Library
  • Watching a genderbent version of Doctor Faustus

I posted a lot of photos on instagram so you can check them all out here!

This week’s posts:

Books I’ve Read:

  • Magnus Chase and the Ship of the Dead by Rick Riordan
  • The Chestnut Man by Søren Sveistrup

Currently Reading:

  • The Fellowship of the Ring by J. R. R. Tolkien
  • The Tale of Genji by Murasaki Shikibu

Last week’s to-do list:

  • Finish a book
  • Post a book review
  • Sort out a TBR for 2019

Next week’s to-do list:

  • Finish a book
  • Post a book review

I hope everyone had a great week!

  1. Your long weekend in London sounds fantastic. It’s high on my list of places I want to visit. Sadly, I did not read any of your Top 10 from 2018. There are just so many great books. Have a great week. Anne – Books of My Heart
