The Sunday Post #138

The Sunday Post is hosted by Caffeinated Book ReviewerSunday Salon is hosted by Readerbuzz.

This post is an opportunity to recap the past week on my blog and in my personal life. It’s also a chance to set up some goals for the upcoming week and share the music/films/TV shows/podcasts that I’ve loved this week.

I had a ticket to see Parasite on Wednesday but the showing was cancelled! I won’t have time to see it before the limited run ends so I’ll have to wait until it’s released on DVD in June.

Other than my failed trip to the cinema, this week was fairly quiet. I haven’t really done anything other than work but it hasn’t been too stressful.

This Week's Posts

Currently Reading

Murder on the Orient ExpressMurder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie – I’ve only read the first chapter of this because I started it last night but I’m looking forward to reading the rest of it!

Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes – Yes, I’m still reading this book. I started it at the beginning of January and I’m not sure when I’ll finish it but I’m slowly creeping towards the end. It has been a much more enjoyable reading experience than I expected.

Things I'm Loving

Red Moon by KARD (Mini Album) – I feel like I just recommend Korean music in this section but KARD’s new mini-album is just *chef’s kiss* and every single song is a bop. I could happily watch the MV for Red Moon on loop.

I hope everyone had a great week!

    1. Parasite will be worth the wait. I’m sure it will!

Don Quixote is rather funny and I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I’ve enjoyed reading it so far 🙂

      Have a great week!

    1. Oh, if they roll out the black and white version in the UK then I may be able to see it at the cinema. Fingers crossed for that! It’s cool that you can already rent it on Amazon though. I’d do that if I had the option.

I hope your dog gets better!

    1. So many people had already bought tickets because they cancelled it about five minutes before the showing was supposed to start 😩 Oh well.

I’m looking forward to getting into the mystery a bit more but it’s a great book so far!

  1. Hallo, Hallo Amy,

I’ve shared my #TheSundayPost for the first time in a long while today. It felt good to get back into a groove of updating about my bookish weeks – whilst it is also giving me a chance to visit with other bloggers who are taking part. I’m looking forward to reading your posts which are highlighted on this recap: Mood Reading vs Scheduled Reading and your review for “The Unspoken Name”.

    1. I bet a readalong of Don Quixote is really helpful because, like you said, some moments do drag a little bit before it picks up again. I have enjoyed reading it though 🙂
